Biography of Robert F. Ellsworth.

Ellsworth, a Lawrence, Kansas attorney and chairman of the Douglas County Republican Party Central Committee, announced his candidacy for the Republican nomination for congressman from the Second Congressional District, which included Allen, Anderson, Bourbon, Douglas, Franklin, Johnson, Linn, Miami, and Wyandotte Counties, in December, 1959.
