A five-page, hand-written reminiscence written by Daisy Wingfield about her experiences as a teacher during World War II. She taught at Sunflower Village Elementary, a school established for children whose parents worked at the Sunflower Ordnance Works, an ammunition plant near DeSoto, Kansas.
