Personal papers of Perley F. Walker
Overview
Walker taught in the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas from 1905-1927, and served as the School's Dean. This collection contains manuscripts, essays and articles, military patches and commissions, correspondence, notebooks, biographical information, materials regarding the history of the School of Engineering, and artifacts.

Biography of Perley F. Walker (1875-1927)
Walker received his B.M.E. from the University of Maine in 1896 and his M.M.E. from Cornell in 1901. He joined the faculty of the School of Engineering at the University of Kansas in 1905, reaching full Professor status in 1906. In 1913 he was named Dean of the School of Engineering. He died in 1927.
