Biography of Morris Dozier
Morris Dozier was born in 1921 in Americus, Georgia. Dozier was inducted into the United States Army in 1942 and graduated from the Army/Air Corps Adjutant General Basic Administration Course, at Atlanta University, Georgia in 1943. In 1961, Dozier completed the Military Personnel Officer Course at Ft. Benjamin in Harrison Indiana. In 1962 Dozier retired from the military after 20 years of service. In 1964 he moved to Kansas where he completed courses at Kansas State University. During his time as a Kansas resident he owned Universal Insurance Service of Junction City, Kansas and also served as Junction City Commissioner. Dozier was also the president of many local organizations and earned many awards for his service.
