"Old Fort Scott things. Scraps written by C.E. Cory of Fort Scott and printed in the Bourbon News." A series of sketches about early happenings in Fort Scott, Kansas. The articles originally appeared in the Bourbon News. The volume includes a letter from C.E. Cory to the Hon. L. Stillwell of Erie, Kansas, conveying the clippings to him in 1924.
