Aaron Friesen was born in 1899 at Inman (McPherson County), Kansas to Mennonite parents. He was age six at Christmas 1905, when he received this autograph album, made in Germany, from his uncle William E. Harms of Inman. The content includes signed sentiments from his parents and uncles, dated January 1906.

Biography of Aaron Friesen

Aaron Friesen was born in the fall of 1899 at Inman (McPherson County), Kansas to Henry B. and Gertrude (Harms) Friesen. His parents were Mennonites--his father having emigrated to the United States in 1883. Aaron's mother, born in Kansas, was a daughter of Peter and Mary Harms.
