Mary E. McCreery papers
Overview
The Mary E. McCreery papers consist primarily of personal papers of Mary McCreery's husband, Dr. Guy R. McCreery. Included also are copies of resolutions of respect issued by Masonic lodges of Whiting and Hugoton, Kansas upon Dr. McCreery's death and deeds to family cemetery lots.

Biography of Mary E. McCreery
Mary E. McCreery was born in Jackson County, Kansas on March 20, 1882 to Noyes S. and Mary A. Dye. In 1906, she married Dr. Guy R. McCreery, who was born in Illinois on November 15, 1877 and graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1902. Dr. and Mrs. McCreery lived in Jackson County, Kansas in the early years of their marriage. In the remainder of their lives, they lived in western Kansas, where Dr. McCreery continued his medical practice. He died on April 17, 1933. Mary McCreery died on June 16, 1970 at Hugoton, Kansas.
