Biography of Ruth Bayard
Ruth L. Bayard was born April 14, 1917 to Harry and Etta [Pitts] Wilson of Manhattan, Kansas. Bayard attended Douglas School. Her first husband, Curtis Harris, was a member of the Kansas City Monarchs baseball team; the couple had one son, Curtis Eugene. She later married Totlon Bayard. Ruth L. Bayard died January 15, 2007.

The Ruth Bayard papers date from 1978 to 1984 and are arranged in a single series. They consist of clippings, church histories, and a copy of a photograph. All items are photocopies.
