Overview
Zula Bennington Greene, also known as Peggy of the Flint Hills, was an author and poet who became well-known in Kansas and beyond for the "Peggy of the Flint Hills" columns she wrote for the Topeka Daily Capital and The Topeka Capital-Journal. The collection contains scrapbooks of her compiled columns, 1928-1988; column response letters and writing samples; letters from friends & family; condolence letters after husband's death, and to her family after her death; speech notes; awards and plaques; appointment books, and newspaper clippings.
