Biography of Dorothy Barto Devin
Dorothy Barto was born on June 11, 1897 in Missouri to Charles R. and Lulu (Turner) Barto. She married Harry Elsworth Devin, son of Scott and Lettie Devin, and grandson of Thomas Jefferson and Sara Lucretia (Harrison) Devin. Dorothy Barto Devin served as Deputy Director of U.S. Bonds in the Treasury Department before her retirement. She was the mother of Dorothy Lou Devin who married Paul McCann. Dorothy Barto Devin died on December 17, 1987 in Sacramento County, California.
