Biography of Cora Downs
Downs received her A.B. in 1915, her A.M. in 1920, and her Ph.D. in 1924, all from KU. She joined the faculty in 1917, teaching Bacteriology. She reached full Professor status in 1935. She retired in 1963 and died in 1987.
