This collection contains papers of Myrl Zimmerman, a longtime Lawrence, Kansas resident who worked as a security guard for the University of Kansas during the time of the 1951 flood. The collection includes extensive photographs and newspaper articles pertaining to the July 1951 flood. Personal scrapbooks and correspondence are also included.
