Ruth Adair Dyer papers
Overview
Ruth Adair Dyer received her Law degree from the University of Kansas in 1921. She was a life member of the KU Alumni Association and a member of the Gold Medal Club. She was also a 50-year member of Delta Delta Delta social sorority and a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. This collection contains photographs, newspaper clippings, sheet music, scrapbooks, journals, legal documents and correspondence.

Biography of Ruth Adair Dyer
Ruth Dyer was born in Liberty, Mo, and graduated from high school in Lawrence, Kansas in 1916. She attended the KU law school. After receiving her bachelor's degree in law from KU in 1921, she worked for her brother's law firm, Loble and Adair, in Helena, Montana. She later worked in Washington, D.C, including several years as secretary for then-Sen. Harry S. Truman. She was a life member of the KU Alumni Association and a member of the Gold Medal Club of the alumni association. She was also a 50-year member of Delta Delta Delta social sorority and a member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
