The collection primarily contains correspondence, legislation, and the like. Most of the correspondence deals with legislative matters and issues of concern to his constituency in the 44th District. There is also correspondence with state and national legislators, and with other political figures. And since the University of Kansas is part of the 44th District there is correspondence with university officials and students.

Biography of Glover, Michael George

Michael Glover, Lawrence, was assistant manager of the Mr. Guy clothing store (City of Lawrence – Lawrence – official). He was born in Wichita, and graduated from the University of Kansas in 1970 with a B.A. in history. At the time the collection was donated, he was serving his second term as state representative from the 44th District.
