Biography of May Gardner
Gardner received her A.B. from KU in 1897 and studied at the Sorbonne in 1904. She joined the faculty in 1909 to teach French and began to teach Spanish in 1917. She reached full Professor status in 1940. She retired in 1940 and died in 1970.
