Scope and Contents
Journal, beginning November 8, 1877 [in] Denver, Colorado and extending to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Describes a sojourn of one week in that city, and afterwards a return by freight wagon to El Moro [Colorado]; nearly three weeks in El Moro with occasional visits to Trinidad cColorado3, from thence by rail through Denver to Salina, Kansas; a few thoughts arising from the Journal of Janet's Repentance (George Eliot); from Salina to Colorado Springs, Colorado [in 1880].
