Biography of Joseph M. Reed

Joseph M. Reed was born August 10, 1834? in LaPorte, Indiana. In May, 1855, he married Mary Ann Bestwick and they later moved to Kansas. Reed died in St. Joseph, Missouri in 1864.

This volume was put together by Evelyn Lewis Harmon, Downey, California, and Glenn Ellen Lewis Slining, Brea, California. The letters were written by Reed between 1858 and 1863, from Kansas, to members of his family. Also included is a biography of Reed and genealogical information.
