Biography of Herbert B. Hungerford
Hungerford received his A.B. in 1911 and his A.M. in 1913, both from KU. He received his Ph.D. from Cornell in 1918. He joined the faculty in 1911, reaching full Professor status in 1920. He retired in 1956.
