Overview
L'Ecuyer taught in the School of Business at the University of Kansas from 1949-1975. This collection consists of a manuscript of "Business Size and Survival in Retail Trades," as well as Small Business Management Research reports and summaries, a study that was conducted from 1929-1954 for the Small Business Administration.

Biography of H. K. L'Ecuyer
L'Ecuyer received his A.B. from the University of Kansas in 1933 and his M.B.A. from Harvard Univesity in 1941. He joined the faculty of KU in 1949 as a Visiting Associate Professor of Industrial Management. He died in 1974.
