Biography of June Tidwell Sprouls
June Tidwell was born approximately 1910. In 1936, she married Joe Sprouls. She worked as a musician and, when the couple moved to Ft. Sills during World War II, she worked at the base USO club as music director and piano player. Through Joe Sprouls' work as a butler, the couple divided their time between Kansas and Colorado. After the war, June Sprouls continued to perform at various clubs and functions.
June Tidwell Sprouls died October 12, 1993 and Joe Sprouls died July 2, 1999 (both in Hutchinson, Kansas).

The June Tidwell Sprouls papers date from 1949 to 1986 and are arranged in a single series of papers, which contain such items as clippings and programs. All items are photocopies made from a single scrapbook. Folder arrangement is alphabetical by topic.
