Biography of Ulysses G. Mitchell
Ulysses Grant Mitchell received his A.B. in 1906 and his A.M. in 1907, both from the University of Kansas. In 1910 he received his Ph.D. from Princeton University. He returned to KU in 1910 in the Department of Mathematics, reaching full Professor status in 1920. He died in 1942.
