Mix taught Botany and Plant Pathology at the University of Kansas from 1916-1956. This collection consists of papers, correspondence, manuscripts, reprints, and photographs.

Biography of Arthur J. Mix
Mix received his A.B. from Hamilton College in 1910 and his Ph.D. from the University of Cornell in 1916. He joined the faculty of the University of Kansas that same year, reaching full Professor status in 1924. He died in 1956.
