These records of the Treasurer of Grant Township, Douglas County, Kansas document the township's receipts and disbursements in six ledgers, located at RH MS D286. Records for the period November 1907 through 1941 appear in ledgers one through five. The sixth ledger contains records for 1949 through 1957.
Folders at RH MS 784 contain additional records of the Treasurer, including a published township officers' guide for 1933; township bank account books, news clippings of published reports of the Treasurer, and correspondence, invoices and receipts related primarily to county roads and fire protection. Also at RH MS 784 are several items found laid in the collection's bound ledgers. Folder labels identify the respective parent ledgers from which their contents were separated.
