Biography of Verl A. Teeter

Born in Fairfield, Iowa, on December 23, 1895, Verl A. Teeter graduated from Parsons College Academy and received the Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Parsons College and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa.

Teeter was a veteran of both World War I and II and served 62 years in the fields of education, industry and government. On July 19, 1917, he married Margaret E. Houghton of Albion, Iowa.
