Biography of Hylas Thompkins
Hylas Thompkins was born August 21, 1888. He served in the military in 1918; he also worked as a janitor and, later, as a farm hand. Thompkins married Elise; he brought a child, Martha, to the marriage.

The Hylas Thompkins family papers date from 1943 to 1962 and consist of membership cards, histories, and letters. Photocopies accompany some items; where this occurs, the copy immediately follows the original. Folder arrangement is alphabetical by subject.
