River City Reunion records
Overview
The River City Reunion was a large-scale cultural event that celebrated Lawrence, Kansas' special contribution to the arts in the Midwest in September 1987. Organizers were Professor George Wedge of the Department of English, University of Kansas; Bill Rich of Fresh Sounds, Inc., a Lawrence-based entertainment promoter; and James Grauerholz, personal secretary to author William S. Burroughs. The collection contains material regarding the original concept planning for the event, correspondence, and financial records.
