Biography of Oliver Phillips

Phillips received his B.S. in Education from the University of Kansas in 1950, his M.A. in Latin literature from the University of Michigan in 1954, and his Ph.D, also in Latin literature, from the University of Chicago in 1962. Phillips became a professor in the Classics Department at the University of Kansas in 1964 and retired in 1994.
