Biography of Jean Gagen
Gagen received her B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan in 1941 and her M.A. in 1942 and her Ph.D. in 1950, both from Columbia University. She joined the faculty of the University of Kansas in 1966, reaching full professor status in 1967. She retired in 1990.
