Biography of Robert Sanders
Robert Sanders obtained his Ph.D. from the university of Michigan in 1964 and began teaching at the University of Kansas in 1966. His research primarily dealt with the biochemistry hormone action, the biochemistry of reproduction, and uterine biochemistry. Research projects have included the study of the properties of uterine adenylate cyclase in the rat.
Sanders taught a number of biochemistry courses at all levels while teaching at KU. He was also the chair of the Minority Graduate Student Recruitment Advisory Committee.
