Biography of Lauraine Clark Mulally

Lauraine Lizette (Clark) Mulally was born on February 8, 1920 in Lawrence, Kansas. She attended the University of Kansas and majored in Education. Mulally worked at Hallmark Cards and the Kansas Color Press. She married Charles "Dick" R. Mulally on March 7, 1943. They had one son, Alan R. Mulally and three daughters, Laura J. Kampschroeder, Rose A. Heape, and Maureen E. Mulally. Mulally was a member of the Flower Club, Plymouth Congregational Church, and the Older Women's League (Owl). She was a founding sponsor of the National US Army Museum and was a volunteer for the Red Cross. Mulally died on August 16, 2010.

Scope and Contents

The collection consists of a composite sheet of photographs entitled "Men and Women from Douglas County in the Armed Forces During WWII, Class of 1938." The photographs are in black and white and feature portraits of men and women, some with their date of death. Several photographs are originals. The other items in the collection are three photographs with written names of the individuals, presumably part of the high school class of 1938.
