Biography of Sidney A. Shapiro (1947- )
Shapiro received his B.S. in 1970 and his J.D. in 1973, both from the University of Pennsylvania. He joined the faculty at the University of Kansas in 1981, becoming the John M. Rounds Professor of Law in 1988. He also served as the President of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) from 1984-1985.
