The Douglas County ACLU was a chapter of the larger ACLU of Kansas and Western Missouri. It disbanded in 2009. This collection comes from the office of the Douglas County ACLU chapter and contains materials from the Douglas County ACLU, the ACLU of Kansas and Western Missouri, and the national chapter of the ACLU.

The Douglas County Aclu chapter records date from 1982 to 2009 and are arranged in three series: Douglas County Aclu, Aclu of Kansas and Western Missouri, and National Aclu. The records include clippings, correspondence, conferences, meeting minutes/agendas, and other materials. Folders are arranged alphabetically in each series with items in chronological date order.
