Biography of Milton Steinhardt
Steinhardt received his B.Mus. in 1936, his M.Mus. in 1937, and his Ph.D. in 1950, all from New York. He joined the faculty of KU in 1951, reaching full Professor status in 1960. He retired in 1975.
