Personal papers of John T. Alexander
John T. Alexander taught Russian/Soviet history in the History Department at the University of Kansas. This collection contains several manuscripts in various draft stages as well as class notes, class syllabi, bibliographic materials, his curriculum vitae, publication materials and articles, and other related materials from his academic career.

Biography of John Alexander
Alexander received his B.A. from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 1961. He received his M.A. in 1963 and his Ph.D. in 1966, both from Indiana University. He joined the faculty of the University of Kansas in the History Department in 1966, reaching full professor status in 1974. He taught Russian and Soviet history.
