Letter to Mr. Smith and Mr. Nicol, Jr.
Overview
Peter Oluf Brøndsted (1780-1842), an archeologist and scholar of Greek antiquities, writes to his publishers, Mr. Smith and Mr. Nicol, Jr. of the firm of George and William Nicol on Pall Mall Street, London. Brøndsted says he is enclosing a sketch and gives instructions for composition and printing, probably for the publication of The Bronzes of Siris now in the British Museum; an archaeological essay. The sketch mentioned is not included with this letter.
