Lady Margaret Beaumont letter
Overview
Lady Margaret Beaumont (1831-1888) was the daughter of Sir Ulrick John de Burgh and Hon. Harriet Canning. In 1856 she married Wentworth Blackett Beaumont. During the 1870s and 1880s, she served as a hostess for many society and political functions. This letter, dated February 23rd from 144 Piccadilly Terrace. W.
