1 volume : Bound in brown morocco, elegantly ornamented in gold and blind tooled, as a triple frame. Armorial stamp: the Bury arms. Foliation: 78 leaves, unfoliated. ; Volume is no taller than 30 cm.

Gives author, title, volumes, size, place, date, location (Library, Gallery, Breakfast Parlour). Most books are dated after 1760. Represents broad interests in the humanitiest and sciences, both British and European, and a careful choice of authors; a certain Irish emphasis. About 1500 books listed. The Catalogue is alphabetically arranged.

The collection of books in this catalogue forms part of the library of the Earl of Charleville, the remaining portion being at his Lordships residence in London.

Typed note loose in book apparently prepared for an exhibition of binding. "This catalogue...was prepared by George Mullen and was undoubtedly bound by him on completion...Kindly lent by P.S. O'Hegarty, Esq." Mullen was a known Irish binder.
