From the War Office in London, England, W. Kerr writes to Brooks & Grane, solicitors, at 29 John Street, Bedford Row. Kerr notifies the solicitors that the committee appointed by the Lord Chancellor to have custody of Lieutenant John William Egerton Brydges (1771?-1858) of the 14th Light Dragoons will state whom they wish to receive his half pay while Brydges is unable to handle his own affairs.
