One page provides a list of addenda; 9 pages are an index of place-names; and the back of the volume includes 5 pages listing stops for food and lodging on the trip. There are a few blank leaves scattered at the back of the volume; several maps and other larger pieces of paper are folded and inset into the volume throughout.
