Biography of Daniel Bays
Bays Recieved his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1972. He joined the faculty of the University of Kansas in the Department of History, reaching full professor status in 1985. He specialized in East Asian Studies and served as the Associate Dean of Liberal Arts in 1981 and the Director of East Asian Studies in 1983.
