Cary Circle records
Overview
The Cary Circle of Wellington, Kansas, Fifth District, was first organized in late 1895 and federated in 1896. The 1951 Constitution of the club states that "the object of this Circle shall be to encourage women to study, to furnish an opportunity for self culture, to promote an interest in literature, and to consider subjects of general interest, whether of a literary, social, educational or civic nature." This collection includes the 1951 copy of the Constitution and Bylaws, yearbooks (6) for 1950/1951-1955/1956 and a program for the October 1915 meeting of the Kansas Eighth District of the Federation of Women's Clubs.
