Maps of the holding of Francesco Soderini near the river Egola (Evola) which runs into tho Arno west of Florence. Floor-plan and views of the villa and cottage of Barbialla, "per Montaione." Apparently for feudal purposes. Placement of the land not as important as area and shape of the land.

1 volume (14 sheets (maps and sketches)) : Binding: Formerly pasted on stubs in leather portfolio; now partially loose. Originally contained more plans and views. Ornament: The maps are birds-eye views, showing herbage, plowing, etc. They often contain a sketch of the workers' house and farm-buildings. Pagination: 1-9 each on two facing leaves: (making one 74 x 48.2 cm sheet). 10-14 on rectos of separate leaves: 37.5 x 48.2. No numeration. Material: Paper.
