Overview

This collection consists of 47 letters between Philip IV of Spain and Sor María de Jesús, abbess of Agreda, with accompanying documents. Sor María's answers to the king's letters are, by his command, on the same sheets as his letters to her. Includes 2 letters from Francisco Andrés de la Torre, confessor of Sor María, to the king, as well as documents concerning the history of these letters.
