Teachers named (and the date they commenced teaching) include: Edmund Rose (20 March 1839), William Guthrie (25 November 1839), James Bain (1841?), William D. Freeman (1844?), and A. Talbert (1845). Also present on loose insert is essay "Description of Babylon" endorsed C.H. Talbert, perhaps an example of schoolwork.
