Written on penultimate blank leaf: "An account of the duel between my grandfather and Mr. Priest--& his subsequent trial--is set out in the Bristol-Times & Mirror under date March 22d 1909 & under heading of "Notes of the day" P-5--Henry G. cor S.3 Rooth, March 22d 1909. 1 Hare Court, Temple, E.C."
