Annals of Madrid court, September 28, 1700-September 20, 1701 [original?] (item 56). Some items in this collection were inspired by the problems of the succession (1667-October 1700), and of the treaties touching Spain planned by France and England, 1699-1700. Some describe the death and will of Carlos Ii, and the rival claimants. A few discuss 15th-17th century precedents concerning succession to the throne, and the unification of the kingdoms.
