Biography of Robert D. Holt

Robert D. Holt earned his doctorate from Harvard University and is the chair of ecology at the University of Florida. Prior to his position in Florida, Dr. Holt worked at the University of Kansas' Museum of Natural History. His main research interests have focused in population and community levels of ecological organization, as well as in linking ecology with evolutionary biology. Dr. Holt is interested in the theoretical and the practical and has conducted experiments in habitat fragmentation.
