Biography of Lloyd C. Foltz

Lloyd C. Foltz was born in Pottawatomie County, Kansas September 24, 1897 and died in Wichita, Kansas on May 25, 1990. He was an etcher, lithographer, and block printmaker specializing in rural scenes.

He studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. Lived in Topeka and then in Wichita. Taught at the Wichita Art Association. Worked for Western Lithograph Co. Foltz was a member of Prairie Print Makers (charter member); Wichita Art Guild; Wichita Art Association; Northwest Printmakers; Rocky Mountain Print Makers; California Print Makers; Kansas Watercolor Society.
