Biographies of Christine and Philip Miller
J. (Josephus) Philip and Christine Miller were the children of Harriet McClelland, a school teacher from Illinois. Harriet's other children included Ralph Miller and Hugh McClelland.
Christine graduated from Eureka High School in 1913 in Greenwood County, Kansas and went on to the University of Kansas to study music, graduating from there in 1915. She became a school teacher in the Newton, Harvey County school system and was active in the local musical community, including accompanying students and the high school glee clubs.
Philip Miller became a farmer, remaining in Greenwood County and eventually marrying Elva Matthews. They had two children, Hal and Lila.

The collection consists of 5 postcards:
- 1909: Image of Frazier Hall; Maud Rush writing to Christine Miller hoping to see Christine Friday afternoon.
- 1910: General view of KU; "M.R." writing to Philip Miller asking after Philip and discussing own life.
- 1910: Image of Snow Hall; Maud Rush writing Christine Miller about walking through mud from the rain.
- 1910: Image of Law Building; "Henry" writing Philip Miller describing class schedule and his lodgings.
- [1915?]: Image of Physics Building; Ruth G. writing Christine Miller about walking to campus and being afraid of getting lost there in the fall.
