D. D. McCleery Photographs
Overview
This collection includes 13 black and white photographs taken by Lawrence, Kansas-based photographer D.D. (Douglas) McCleery on May 28, 1964 of a car accident site, none of which show people. All photographs state the direction he took each shot. There are also four strips of photographic negatives, presumably also taken by McCleery, consisting of three or four shots each. Each strip has different, unrelated subject matter containing unidentified people in each frame. Those that contain a year are from 1996 and 1997. Three of the four negative strips were shot in color.
